Like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Motörhead probably sticks out like a sore thumb on my By Special Request list. Honestly, it took several years after I saw them open for Cheap Trick for me to appreciate the band. Here’s “Ace of Spades” for your listening pleasure.

Very cool you saw Lemmy live. I have a DVD about him, “Lemmy” and before watching it didn’t know much about the guy. According to the video the band is huge in Europe but not sure if that is still the case?

The show I saw was on what was pretty much their US debut tour. They’re still much bigger abroad.
